ENNOH develops long-term scenarios that describe how Europe’s hydrogen system may evolve over the coming decades. This work is carried out in cooperation with ENTSOG and ENTSO-E to ensure cross-sector consistency in assumptions for energy demand, hydrogen production and supply, renewable generation, imports, storage needs and overall system interactions. The scenarios provide the analytical foundation for the entire TYNDP process by establishing coherent future pathways and sensitivities against which infrastructure needs and project impacts are assessed.
