Showcasing concrete European hydrogen infrastructure projects and possibilities for transport routes and corridors.
The reference platform for data on European hydrogen transmission networks in operation or planned
According to the Regulation (EU) 2024/1789, ENNOH shall establish a Union-wide central Platform to facilitate access to information on European hydrogen networks. The Transparency Platform will collect data required by the Regulation and produced by the Hydrogen Transmission Network Operators (HTNOs). This will support transparent and non-discriminatory network access and the development of the European hydrogen market.
The first version of the Transparency Map displays the hydrogen transmission network projects, as selected by the TYNDP 2026 process, which was led by ENTSOG.
Infrastructure information will subsequently evolve on the basis of the database to be established during TYNDP 2028, which will be the first one conducted by ENNOH.
A webform is made available to ENNOH members, enabling them to submit certain updates. Once completed, this webform is automatically sent to ENNOH, which can then carry out the update.
A second map displaying transmission networks in operation is planned to be developed in 2027, requiring connection protocols with HTNOs1: connectivity modalities will be closely discussed with ENNOH members in order to design a cost-efficient solution which builds on existing experience and technical solutions.
A dedicated section of the Platform provides the list of operators and other relevant information. The relevant information will be updated with reference to the transparency obligations of HTNOs according to national regulations.
